For this tutorial you will need:

*Lux pattern for kids
*extra pattern piece for sleeves (free download)

Allereerst stik je de schoudernaden van je Lux jurk, meer info vind je hierover in de handleiding.
Je stikt de zijnaden nog niet.

First stitch the shoulder seams of your Lux dress, more info on this in the tutorial.
Do not stitch the side seams yet.

1.Leg je voorpand en achterpand met de goede kanten naar boven

1. Place your front and back piece right sides up.

2.Knip je lange mouw 2x op de stofvouw
Leg je lange mouw op voorpand en achterpand, goede kanten op elkaar.
Speld en stik de naad.

2.Cut your long sleeve 2x on the fabric fold.
Place your long sleeve on front piece and back piece, right sides together.
Pin and stitch the seam.

Strijk de naad en herhaal voor de andere mouw.

Press seam and repeat for the other sleeve.

3. Sluit de zijnaden en de naden van de mouwen in 1 beweging.
Leg daarvoor de zijnaden van voorpand en achterpand met de goede kanten op elkaar,
doe hetzelfde met de mouwnaden.
Speld en stik in 1 beweging.

3. Close the side seams and the seams of the sleeves in 1 move.
To do this, place the side seams of front piece and back piece right sides together,
do the same with the sleeve seams.
Pin and stitch in 1 go.

Draai je werkstuk naar de goede kant en strijk alle naden mooi uit.

Turn your piece to the right side and iron out all seams nicely.

4. Knip je mouwboorden 2x.
Vouw de mouwboorden dubbel met de goede kanten op elkaar en stik de aangeduide zijde.
Strijk daarna de naad plat.

4. Cut your sleeve cuffs 2x.
Fold the sleeve cuffs in half, right sides together each other and stitch the indicated side.
Then iron the seam flat.

5. Vouw je mouwboord opnieuw in de helft zodat je een tunnel krijgt.
Strijk plat.

5. Fold your sleeve cuffs in half again so you get a tunnel.
Press flat.

6. Schuif de boord over de mouw zodat de ruwe zijden gelijk liggen, speld en stik vast.

6. Slide the hem over the sleeve so the raw sides are even, pin and stitch in place.

Plooi de mouwboord op zijn plaats en strijk.
Herhaal voor de andere kant.

Fold the sleeve hem in place and press.
Repeat for the other side.

Werk je Lux jurk nu af zoals beschreven in de handleiding en klaar!

Now finish your Lux dress as described in the instructions and you’re done!
